Spring U9/10 Level Up Academy

9/10 Level Up Academy consists of two training sessions a week with our staff coaches. They will also have one training session a week with a volunteer staff coach selected by Fire FC. That volunteer coach will manage the team and attend training and games. The team will play in a local league we create called the Premier League. We take all the Level Up Academy boys and girls teams and put them in this league. We also look to add the top 1-3 teams from boys and girls divisions in our recreation league. This creates a more competitive league that allows us to play locally. Teams play approximately 8 games in league. Level Up Academy Teams will also play 1-2 tournaments per season that will be selected by Fire FC. Spring will be here in Grand Junction for the GMIT.

The training environment in Level Up will focus on individual technical skills and decision making to progress these young players in long term development. At trainings, Level Up Academy teams will go with a Fire FC staff as a team for that day and will focus on position specific decision making and skills. Level Up is designed to focus on individuals technical skills on the ball while progress player’s tactical decision making and positioning.

Players that would be a good fit for this program have to have a passion for the game and players who tend to excel in our recreation league.

**We will have a TENTATIVE start date of 3/3. This may change depending on weather and subsequent access to the fields**

When – Monday 4:45-5:45pm and Wednesday 4:45-5:45pm

Dates - Mar - 3, 5, 10, 12, 24, 26, 31 Apr - 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30, May - 5, 7, 12, 14

*Players that do this program will only play on this team and not in our recreation division.

Spring U7/8 Level Up Training

This will be an optional program offered one day a week, on Mondays. This will be seven weeks of additional training. The intent of the 7/8 Level Up is to put players in a competitive, age appropriate training environment that challenges them physically and mentally. The program is open to any player who are U7 or U8 and who have the desire to further develop their soccer skills under the guidance of a professional coach, who is following the club developmental curriculum.

Cost: $90
When: Mondays from 6:15-7:15pm

Dates: 3/24, 3/31, 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5

Spring U5/6 Level Up Training

This will be an optional program offered one day a week, on Mondays. This will be six weeks of additional training. The intent of the 5/6 Level Up is to put players in a fun, age appropriate training environment that challenges them physically and mentally. The program is open to any player who are U5 or U6 and who have the desire to further develop their soccer skills under the guidance of a professional coach, who is following the club developmental curriculum.

Cost: $60
When: Mondays from 6pm to 6:45 pm
